Write the central idea of the poem"The Wild Swans at Coole".

The poem is a lamentation over the transient nature of happiness, joy and vigour enjoyed by men in his world. Compared to this the wild swans who enjoy the eternal beauty of nature which is permanent. Age has, weakened the poet and blunted his passion but the wild swans have remained untouched by the age of time. They have remained as brilliant and cheerful as they were before and continue to delight men perpetually as the swans are considered to be the symbol of permanent joy and beauty of nature.
