The Eyes Have It
"Yes, October is the best time"- What is the occasion of the remark? Why did the narrator think so?
This line is taken from Ruskin Bond's short story The Eyes Have It.
When the narrator told that he was going to Dehra and then to Mussorie, the girl said that she too wished to visit Mussorie and added that she loved the hills are especially in October. That was the occasion for the narrator's remark.
The narrator of the story thinks that the October is the best time for visit Mussorie. Because this time the hills are covered with wild dahlias and the sun is delicious. One can spend a night by sit infront of a logfire and drink brandy. And also the roads are quite deserted because most of the tourists have gone. That's why to narrator October is the best time.
