What are the most important characteristics of a one-act play.
1. The play possessing a single theme in the drama of one main plot, where nothing is bewildered and confused.
2. The play maintains three classical unities: Unity of Place, Unity of Time and Unity of Action.
3. The number of characters is less.
4. A successful one-act play must have a local or regional source for its theme.
5. There is an authenticity in language and style in a one-act play.
6. The play must be symbolic in tone.
